Hiwassee River, Tennessee
This 4000 square foot (living area) Vacation Home will be built on the hilly terrain beside the Hiwassee River. Panoramic views of the river are available from many rooms within the home.
The Home’s Design takes advantage of the land’s slope. The front of the home is two stories and the rear of the home is three stories with a walkout basement built into the hill. The property slopes down to the river.
The Basement offers areas for Refuge, Storage and Activities.
The Main Living area has a tall Cathedral A-Frame Ceiling that spans from the Front Porch to the Back Porch. Tall sliding glass doors and several sliding bar top windows at the rear of the Family Room and Kitchen Countertop pocket into the wall providing a wide view of the river. The Back Porch has exposed and stained structural trusses above. In regards to Vacation Homes, given the proximity of the river and the beauty of the surrounding hills, this is one home that my clients will never want to leave.
